Low Point Frequently Asked Questions - Please read before e-mailing.

1. Do you accept demos?
Low Point is always happy to listen to any music you'd like to send over. Please always e-mail to introduce yourself first and then we'll give you a postal address to send your demos (in cd/cdr format only) to. Low Point is not currently accepting demos at the moment. Please note that any e-mails containing download links or streaming audio will be deleted immediately and will not be listened to.

2. What did you think to the demo I sent?
If we like what we hear we'll be in touch. Please note that as a point of reference, Low Point has only ever gone on to release a small amount of music that was originally sent as an unsolicited demo.

3. Will you distribute my release on your website?
Sorry, we do not do distribution for other labels' releases.

4. Are you interested in doing trades?
Sorry, we do not trade releases.

5. Can you send me a promo copy of your releases?
Sure, though please justify why, how and where your review(s) can/will be found when contacting us.

6. Why are you always so grumpy about people uploading/sharing your music on the Internet?
Low Point is a tiny label which often struggles to break even on releases (especially so when it's a vinyl release). As a result, people downloading releases for free, no matter how they try and justify it, removes valuable sales from both the label and more importantly, the artist. The Low Point website now uses Sound Cloud to allow people to preview releases, so please support the label & artists and buy the release if you like what you hear!
